The Discus Awards will honor one winner each month of the school year with a $2,000 college scholarship. Scholarship recipients will be selected from the growing ranks of winners of the Discus Awards. Since its 2009 launch, the Discus Awards have attracted thousands of nominations from every state in the U.S., with winners ranging from a synchronized swimming champ who speaks fluent French, to a karate black belt who’s also class treasurer, to a junior firefighter who organized a benefit dance for a local girl with cancer.

Like all of Campus Direct’s initiatives, the Discus Awards is another way to champion the student. The Discus Awards advocate for student engagement in and out of the classroom, reward superstars with college scholarships, and offer students one additional way to showcase their strengths to college admissions officers.
