Samantha Lee, Online Marketing Manager

Samantha Lee has developed her marketing skills through years of online experience with advertising, promotions, and web site development and management in various industries.

Previously, Ms. Lee joined WEbook, Inc., immediately after the site’s public debut. Working closely with the marketing team, she focused on driving traffic to the online community for writers. Ms. Lee tracked and helped manage the company’s online advertising efforts and established and maintained the brand’s presence on social media networks.

Before joining WEbook, she optimized Time Warner Cable’s Road Runner online portal for commerce partners. There, she analyzed the effectiveness of editorial placements of partner content and implemented new plans to engage the audience.

Additionally, Ms. Lee has extensive journalism experience as an editor-in-chief, production editor, and reporter. Her articles have been published by USA WEEKEND, DC STYLE, and other national and local publications.

In high school, Ms. Lee first ventured into entrepreneurship with the creation of a go-to entertainment web site. She managed the site and participated in sponsorships with various well-known brands. She later sold the traffic-heavy and SEO-rich site to a private party.

Ms. Lee received a B.S. degree in marketing and a B.A. degree in journalism with cum laude honors from the University of Maryland.
